About American Court and Commercial Newspapers

ACCN’s mission is to encourage and improve the business of publishing court, legal and commercial newspapers. A major goal of the organization is to enhance and encourage the publication of newspaper legal notices. It considers a rich stream of legal notices to the public to be a part of a three-legged stool of accountability, along with open meetings and open records.
The president of ACCN for 2007-08 is Chris Mobley, president and publisher of the Daily Business Review, Miami, FL

ACCN is a professional trade organization of newspapers reporting on court and business news. Its members provide public notice media to their communities, with particular focus on legal notices required by court actions, property foreclosures and dispositions.
